Sex adaptation falls in the domain of self-responsibility. more ...

The Holy Spirit and its diverse ways of activity

(11.01.2007) Zurich. In the position papers on Holy Baptism and Holy Sealing as well as in the comments concerning "exclusiveness" as published by the New Apostolic Church on January 24, 2006, statements were made concerning the Holy Spirit. The question has been raised, with reference to these statements, of whether they do not constitute a contradiction: on the one hand, dispensing of Holy Spirit is bound to apostleship while, on the other, it is stated that the Holy Spirit can also be active in other religious denominations which truthfully profess Christ. more ...

The Christian response to a person with HIV/AIDS must be compassionate, helpful, and redemptive. Jesus, as our example, cared for those with disease with a personal demonstration of God's love (Luke 5:12-16)." It is with these words that the New Apostolic Church’s guideline for dealing with HIV/AIDS begins. more ...

(04.11.2005) Zurich. The Apocrypha - that is, the later writings of the Old Testament - are just as binding for the faith and doctrine of the New Apostolic Church as the other writings of the Old Testament. Doctrinal statements of the New Apostolic Church can thus be legitimated or supported by quotations from the Old Testament Apocrypha. So states a resolution of the District Apostle Meeting that took place in Zurich at the end of October. more ...
