Pentecost message from Hamburg to be sent around the world

When Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber rings in the divine service on Pentecost morning in the New Apostolic congregation of Hamburg-Borgfelde, several thousand other congregations in over 100 countries will also be connected, either by satellite or internet. Pentecost 2013: A new Chief Apostle for the New Apostolic Church

(18.04.2013) Zurich. There are only about four more weeks to go before Pentecost, when a new Chief Apostle will be ordained for the New Apostolic Church. The current international Church leader, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, will retire at the age of 65 and will be succeeded in ministry by a French national, namely Jean-Luc Schneider (53). Chief Apostle congratulates new Pope Francis

(14.03.2013) Zurich. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber has congratulated the new Pope Francis I on behalf of the New Apostolic Church. Yesterday Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected to the highest ministry of the Catholic Church. The 76-year-old Argentinean thus succeeds Pope Benedict XVI, who recently stepped down from office. more ...

Spring District Apostle Meeting in Stuttgart

The international spring meeting of District Apostles and District Apostle Helpers of the New Apostolic Church is currently underway in Stuttgart. “This is my last District Apostle Meeting as active Chief Apostle”—it was with these words that Church leader Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber addressed all 20 District Apostles and nine District Apostle Helpers. On the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI

It was with great esteem and respect that the international leader of the New Apostolic Church, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, responded to the announcement of the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, the head of the Catholic Church. In his public statement, the Chief Apostle expressed that he has a great deal of understanding for the Pope’s desire to step down early. In many countries special activities have been planned on this occasion: District festivities, trans-regional communal activities and even church conventions. Bernd Koberstein is the new District Apostle for France

An appeal from the new District Apostle Bernd Koberstein to the New Apostolic congregations in France: “Please give me the chance to love you!” It was at the end of a divine service in Mulhouse that Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber entrusted him with this new task. The previous District Apostle Helper Jean-Luc Schneider had been appointed Chief Apostle Helper on Pentecost of this year and will now need to dedicate more of his attention to his international tasks. more ...

Official introduction of the New Apostolic Catechism!

(05.12.2012) Zurich. “For the first time ever, a systematic description of the New Apostolic doctrine has been developed. Naturally there have already been other works describing significant elements of the New Apostolic faith […] Nevertheless there have been increasing calls for a more comprehensive description of our doctrine.” So it says on the first page of the Catechism of the New Apostolic Church.
