(25.02.2015) Luanda/Zurich. João Uanuque Misselo is the name of the new District Apostle Helper in the large African District Church of Angola. In a divine service he conducted in Luanda last Sunday, 22 February 2015, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider appointed the Apostle to this position of expanded responsibility. Two other men were also ordained to the Apostle ministry on this occasion.
(02.02.2015) Stuttgart. Since the end of 2013, the Project Group Marriage, Family, Cohabitation (PG MFC) has been the Church’s official contact group for Rainbow-NAC (we reported). The Project Group thereby assumes the mandate of its predecessor, the Committee for Special Affairs. The agenda of the first annual meeting between the two groups on 19 December 2014 focused on numerous questions concerning the situation of homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual members in the New Apostolic Church.
(27.01.2015) Zürich/Lusaka. In Sambia ist die Neuapostolische Kirche stark vertreten. Rund ein Fünftel der Christen in diesem riesigen Land im Süden Afrikas bekennt sich zum neuapostolischen Glauben. Am letzten Sonntag ordinierte Stammapostel Jean-Luc Scheider zwei neue Apostel für diese Gebietskirche. Der internationale Kirchenleiter feierte den Sonntagsgottesdienst in der benachbarten Gebietskirche Cape. Seine Predigt am 25. Januar 2015 in Port Elizabeth wurde in zahlreiche Gemeinden der Kap-Region per Video übertragen.
(22.01.2015) Zurich. Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider will appoint a District Apostle Helper for the District Church of Angola, a gigantic country in South Western Africa. In consideration of the steady growth of its membership, the New Apostolic Church has taken this step to shore up pastoral care in the country. Apostle João Uanuque Misselo (49) is to take on this additional responsibility.
Chief Apostle preaches about love for one’s neighbour in Luxembourg and speaks out against hatred and violence

Unequivocal statements decrying Islamic fundamentalist attacks in France, Nigeria, and Mali, as well as Islamophobic demonstrations in Germany—Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider took a clear position in his divine service last Sunday in Luxembourg. “Even in such circumstances,” he noted, “the New Apostolic faith is of very specific and practical significance.”
(02.01.2015) Zurich. “Joy in Christ”—this is the motto for the year 2015 which Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider has addressed to the global congregation of all New Apostolic Christians. His intent here is to point to the strength and power that Christians can derive from their intimate relationship with the Son of God. Although no one—including the Chief Apostle—knows what the coming year will bring, we can nevertheless already set priorities now.
(01.01.2015) “A year of joy in Christ.” These words conclude Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider’s message for the new year, which was published today on the news magazine nac.today. This is the first time that the head of the New Apostolic Church has delivered a video message to New Apostolic Christians around the world at the beginning of a new year. Chief Apostle Schneider thanks everyone for all the things that were done in the past year and casts a joyful outlook on the coming year.

The fourth Sunday of Advent brought an important change to the District Church of Switzerland: in a divine service he conducted in Zurich, the international Church leader, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, retired Apostle Heinz Lang, who had served the Church for many years, and then went on to ordain a successor in ministry, namely Thomas Deubel (50). In addition, Rolf Camenzind (51) from Ticino was ordained a Bishop. The divine service was transmitted to many countries throughout the working area of District Apostle Markus Fehlbaum.

(19.12.2014) Zurich/Manila. It was a very special trip for the international Church leader: adhering to a schedule that had been determined years in advance, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider ended up travelling to the Philippines immediately after the country had been struck by the very serious typhoon “Hagupit” (we reported). In a festive divine service he conducted on Sunday, he discharged Apostle Mercurio Nuyad—who had served in ministry for many years—into a well-deserved retirement, and then went on to ordain his successor in ministry, Alfredo Pascual.
