Two new Apostles for Brazil
(07.11.2012) Zurich/Recife. The names of the two newly ordained Apostles for the District Church of Brazil are José Antonio Bonaite (53) and Reinaldo Milczuk (51). Both of them received their new ministries in a divine service conducted by Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber in Recife over the past weekend. Jürg Zbinden is the name of the new Apostle for Ticino and Italy
(30.10.2012) Lugano/Zurich. “But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” (Hebrews 13: 16). Such was the Bible text which the international Church leader, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, used as the foundation for the divine service he conducted in Lugano, Ticino on the last Sunday of October. The District Church of Switzerland was given a new Apostle for its work in the southern portion of the country, but Jürg Zbinden will in future also be responsible for the work of the Church in Italy. more ...

There have been some changes of staff in the pastoral care work of the New Apostolic Church in Russia: last Sunday, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber ordained two new Apostles and two Bishops for the District Church of Russia in a divine service in St. Petersburg. However, two tried and tested servants of God also retired with Apostles Vladimir Danilov and Alexander Kondrashov. Information evening presenting the new Catechism to be transmitted in December
(19.10.2012) Zurich. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber will address all New Apostolic congregations in Europe from the Church’s international headquarters in Zurich—just in time for the release of the new Catechism. In a letter to the congregations in Europe he writes that he thereby intends to introduce the work, provide some background information on it, and explain some of its basic concepts. Tshitshi Tshisekedi to be ordained a District Apostle for South East Congo
(17.10.2012) Zurich. Tshitshi Tshisekedi, who currently serves as a District Apostle Helper, will receive the District Apostle ministry for the District Church of South East Congo in January of next year. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber announced this news in the course of the International District Apostle Meeting in Herzliya, Israel. District Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider will thereby transfer responsibility for the care of one of the largest New Apostolic District Churches in the world in order to dedicate himself increasingly to his tasks as a Chief Apostle Helper. more ...

It was an emotional divine service in Nazareth, the city of Jesus near the Sea of Tiberias: Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber and all the District Apostles and District Apostle Helpers of the world had come to the jam-packed congregation. First copy of the Catechism presented to the Chief Apostle
(12.10.2012) Zurich/Herzliya. The first print of the New Apostolic Catechism is in the hands of Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber: the international Church leader was only too happy to pick up a copy of the extensive work. This brings a year of intensive work to a close, as at least the German-language version of the Catechism is to be published by mid-December. The work is also scheduled for publication in a number of other languages in January of next year. more ...
New training programs in Africa

New training programs for ministers and musicians in the congregations—these are only two of a whole series of interesting items on the agenda of the District Apostle Meeting Africa. All District Apostles and Helpers who work on the African continent participate in this meeting. “My message for Thanksgiving: work for Christ!”
(08.10.2012) Zurich/Duisburg. “Every day let us do something for Christ! That is my message on this Thanksgiving Sunday.” It was with this striking statement in the Sunday divine service that the international Church leader, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, addressed the many thousand who attended the divine service in Duisburg and those in the congregations linked by satellite transmission. Forty-year anniversary of the New Apostolic Church in the Philippines
(05.10.2012) Zurich/Manila. It has been 40 years since the New Apostolic Church was established in the Philippines. At the time, in October 1972, it was the Apostle Erwin Wagner who conducted the first divine service in Manila. Today this part of the world is home to many thousands of New Apostolic Christians. Across the country this Sunday, the District church will commemorate its history and thus also celebrate the Thanksgiving divine service as an anniversary service. more ...
