In many countries special activities have been planned on this occasion: District festivities, trans-regional communal activities and even church conventions. The New Apostolic Church East Africa is now online

(16.01.2013) Zurich. The New Apostolic Church in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda operates as the District Apostle district of East Africa. District Apostle Shadreck Lubasi is responsible for the pastoral and administrative leadership of the Church in the three countries. Change of Chief Apostle in the New Apostolic Church on Pentecost 2013

(15.01.2013) Zurich. On Pentecost Sunday, 19 May 2013, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber will entrust the Chief Apostle ministry to his successor Jean-Luc Schneider, after which he himself will retire. All New Apostolic congregations around the world will be able to join in and celebrate this divine service together as a satellite transmission. Well ahead of this date, the Church leader will personally inform all New Apostolic Church members around the world of this change by way of a circular letter. Chief Apostle officially ushers in the anniversary year 2013

(24.12.2012) Mulhouse/Zurich. An appeal from the new District Apostle Bernd Koberstein to the New Apostolic congregations in France: “Please give me the chance to love you!” It was at the end of a divine service in Mulhouse that Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber entrusted him with this new task. The previous District Apostle Helper Jean-Luc Schneider had been appointed Chief Apostle Helper on Pentecost of this year and will now need to dedicate more of his attention to his international tasks. more ...

Naturally there have already been other works describing significant elements of the New Apostolic faith […] Nevertheless there have been increasing calls for a more comprehensive description of our doctrine.” So it says on the first page of the Catechism of the New Apostolic Church. A 90-minute interview with the Chief Apostle recorded on nacworld

(03.12.2012) Zurich/Hamburg. After a 90-minute interview in front of a running camera, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber comes to the following positive conclusion: “I found the questions very interesting. They reflect current issues and address what people are generally thinking and feeling.” Prior to the interview, nacworld members had submitted nearly 200 questions to the leader of the New Apostolic Church. (28.11.2012) Juba/Zurich. The New Apostolic Church in Sudan once again has an Apostle: the hitherto Bishop Morris Ukuni (46) received his new ministry last Sunday. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber had travelled to Juba especially for this purpose.
