100,000 Euros earmarked for flood regions in Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe

(22.02.2008) Lusaka. As reported, the regions around the Zambezi and other large rivers of Eastern Africa have been devastated by floods for weeks. District Apostle Charles Ndandula from Lusaka (Zambia) has asked Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber for assistance. In the meantime, the Church leader has initiated emergency relief measures, and has requested “NAK-karitativ” to take up direct contact with the Church office in Lusaka. [En savoir plus]

Information Evening on 4 December 2007: A Documentation

(04.12.2007) Zurich. On 4 December 2007 an information evening of the New Apostolic Church took place in Zurich. It dealt with Church-internal topics of both greater and lesser significance. The transmission was sent via satellite from the communications centre of the international head office of the New Apostolic Church in Zurich to around 1,400 congregations in 18 countries of Europe. On location in Frankfurt: film sequences for “Image DVD” are in the box

(15.11.2007) Frankfurt. It was a cool autumn day. Nevertheless some 60 New Apostolic members from Frankfurt assembled on a sports field on the first Saturday of November in order to begin shooting some of the scenes for the new multimedia DVD of the New Apostolic Church International. The new means of advertising is scheduled to be completed by the middle of next year, and is being developed under the working title “Image DVD.” It will contain film scenes, animated info-clips, photos, and text. Worldwide prayers for peace

(11.09.2007) Zurich. Again this year the New Apostolic Church will take part in the “International Day of Prayer for Peace,” which has been celebrated around the world for four years now, traditionally on 21 September. The World Council of Churches has called upon its approximately 350 member churches to offer up prayers for peace on this day. Already two years ago, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber asked the New Apostolic congregations around the world for their commitment to this cause. [En savoir plus]

Pentecost 2007: 8,000 congregations connected by satellite

(24.05.2007) Zurich/Hamburg. Pentecost 2007 – a big event for the New Apostolic Church. The Church’s international president and Chief Apostle, Dr. Wilhelm Leber, will conduct a divine service on Pentecost Sunday, 27 May 2007 in the Hamburg Congress Centre. More than 7,900 New Apostolic congregations in 70 countries will be connected in both sound and picture via satellite transmission. Some 1.5 million souls will be able to take part in the divine service. The sermon will be translated into English at the altar, and from there into over 20 other languages. [En savoir plus]

Pentecost 2007: European apostles meet in Hamburg

(21.05.2007) Zurich/Hamburg. At the end of May, the international leader of the New Apostolic Church, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, will visit the District Churches of Northern Germany for this year’s feast of Pentecost. Over 60 Apostles from within Europe and the countries served from Europe are expected to attend the celebration with him. The highlight will be the divine service in the Hamburg Congress Centre, which will be transmitted to 60 countries, such as South Africa, White Russia, the Baltic region, and the Nordic countries by satellite. A fully occupied church in Fellbach, near Stuttgart, some 360 apostles, and more than 1.5 million souls around the world enjoyed their last divine service by Chief Apostle Richard Fehr.
