Ceremony planned for Statement of Reconciliation

(31.10.2014) Düsseldorf/Zurich. Several meetings between representatives from the United Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church have taken place over the last few months. The content of these discussions centred on the events that led to the separation between the United Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church in the year 1955. In an open exchange, these events were analysed from today’s point of view. A change in store for the New Apostolic Church of North Rhine-Westphalia

This Sunday, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider will conduct a divine service in Dortmund, Germany in which he will retire District Apostle Armin Brinkmann, who has served the New Apostolic District Church of North Rhine-Westphalia for many years. Previous resolution concerning retirement of ministers more precisely formulated

(19.11.2013) Zurich. In principle, a minister of the New Apostolic Church is ordained by an Apostle and also retired by an Apostle. The retirement takes place within the framework of a divine service. As a rule, this moment arrives when a minister turns 65, but in individual cases the responsible District Apostle can, in consultation with the minister in question, decide to extend his ministerial activity. In any event, however, the retirement has to take place before the minister turns 68. more ...

Obituary for Chief Apostle Richard Fehr

(02.07.2013) Zurich. It is with great sadness that New Apostolic Christians around the world have learned of the passing of Chief Apostle Richard Fehr, who had served in ministry for many years. Expressions of sympathy have begun to arrive from all parts of the globe. Chief Apostle Richard Fehr has passed away

(30.06.2013) Zurich. In the early evening hours of this Sunday, 30 June 2013, retired Chief Apostle Richard Fehr passed into the beyond. He is survived by his wife Sonja and his family. In his official notice to the District Apostles, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider informed them that his predecessor in the Chief Apostle ministry closed his eyes peacefully at around 5:00 PM. As of this Pentecost Sunday 2013, the New Apostolic Church has a new spiritual leader: Jean-Luc Schneider is the new Chief Apostle and successor in ministry to Wilhelm Leber, who retired from ministry on this occasion. It was a special highlight when the new Chief Apostle discharged the previous Chief Apostle from his ministry with the words: “In our hearts you will remain our Chief Apostle!” more ...

Pentecost message from Hamburg to be sent around the world

When Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber rings in the divine service on Pentecost morning in the New Apostolic congregation of Hamburg-Borgfelde, several thousand other congregations in over 100 countries will also be connected, either by satellite or internet.
