During the last District Apostle Meeting in Zurich the District Apostles listened to a theological lecture on the topic “What is the significance of the plea ‘And lead us not into temptation’ in the Lord’s Prayer?” A detailed explanation on this subject will appear in both the Church magazine “Our Family” and the monthly “Word of life” circular for ministers. We will publish a brief summary here.
(13.12.2006) Zurich. What task had the Apostle ministry to fulfil in bringing salvation to man according to the teachings of the Catholic Apostolic Church? It can be clearly shown from relevant teachings of the Catholic Apostolic Church that it attributed a special importance to apostles in preparing a group of firstfruits and that in this sense the apostle ministry was necessary for salvation.
(06.11.2006) Zurich. A manuscript was found in 1976 written in Coptic, a recent phase of ancient Egyptian, and probably identical to the Gospel of Judas known in the old church. A Gospel according to Judas is first attested by Irenäus, a teacher of theology, around 180 AD.
(02.06.2006) Zurich. "The New Apostolic Church will welcome those with HIV and AIDS and their families with love and acceptance. The Christian response to a person with HIV/AIDS must be compassionate, helpful, and redemptive. Jesus, as our example, cared for those with disease with a personal demonstration of God's love (Luke 5:12-16)." It is with these words that the New Apostolic Church’s guideline for dealing with HIV/AIDS begins.
New doctrinal statement: The woman clothed with the sun is not to be interpreted as the New Apostolic Church

The District Apostle Meeting of the New Apostolic Church in Karlsruhe ratified a new interpretation of the Church’s understanding of the “woman clothed with the sun” mentioned in chapter 12 of the Revelation of John. As of now the New Apostolic Church regards the “woman clothed with the sun” to be the fellowship of believers who have entered into a special relationship of proximity to Jesus Christ, who believe in Him, and who profess Him.
The New Apostolic Church details its doctrine of salvation: Exclusive? Yes, but with no claim to absoluteness
(24.01.2006) Zurich. The New Apostolic Church has more precisely defined its position on salvation and exclusiveness. It now publicly states that the sealed Christians of the New Apostolic Church understand themselves to be the bride of Christ and thus have the opportunity to take part in the return of the Lord. During the Last Judgement, God will once again grant salvation through His Son. All souls who are then able to stand before God will gain entry to the new creation and eternal fellowship with God.

(24.01.2006) Zurich. Effective 24 January 2006, the New Apostolic Church has changed its position on Holy Baptism and Holy Sealing. A specially scheduled information evening in Uster (Switzerland) was transmitted via satellite to all New Apostolic congregations around the world.
