Last Sunday, 28 September 2008, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber assembled the European ministers of the New Apostolic Church, along with their wives, for a special divine service. A satellite signal carried the service from the church in Herne-Wanne-Eickel (North Rhine-Westphalia) into over 550 congregations throughout Europe (we reported). District Apostle Norberto Batista has passed away
(30.09.2008) Zurich/Buenos Aires. Yesterday - Monday, 29 September 2008 - Argentine District Apostle Norberto Batista passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to heart failure. He was 57 years of age, and is survived by his wife and two children. Every two years, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, the leading minister of the New Apostolic Church, assembles all ministers and wives from all over Europe for a special divine service. Yesterday, this long-awaited divine service took place in the church in Herne-Wanne-Eickel (North Rhine-Westphalia), from where it was transmitted to more than 550 European congregations. South East Asia: A new District Apostle district will be established in 2009
(29.07.2008) Zurich. In January of the coming year, a new District Apostle district will be established in the New Apostolic Church, namely the “New Apostolic Church South East Asia”. Various District Churches will be amalgamated as a result: Indonesia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Thus a total of 18 countries with approximately 2,000 congregations between them will be combined into a single District Apostle district in South East Asia. more ...

A weekend of great movement
(08.07.2008) Pretoria, South Africa. A weekend of great movement in South Africa - that was how Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber summarised his trip to Pretoria. On Saturday, the international Church leader attended a choral concert in Johannesburg’s West Park Cemetery, where over 200,000 people of various nationalities lie buried.
