New Apostolic Church adopts new fundamental principles

(03.06.2004) Zurich. What is the New Apostolic Church? What does the Church teach? How did it come into being? What is its position toward state and society? In general, such questions and more are answered by the catechism of a given church. To date, no such collection of fundamental principles was available in the New Apostolic Church. The only work on hand was the book "Questions and Answers", which was last revised in 1992. The Church has recently decided to produce a new compilation of fundamental principles. more ...

Again young New Apostolic Christians will step up to the altar to give their confirmation vow, promising their loyalty to God: "I renounce Satan, and all his work and ways, and surrender myself to Thee, O Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in belief, obedience, and the earnest resolution to remain faithful to Thee until my end. Victor Bezgans becomes new District Apostle Helper for Russia

Together with their wives, all ministers of the New Apostolic Church throughout Europe were either at the service in person or connected by satellite transmission. District Apostle Horst Ehlebracht passed away

(06.02.2004) Herford. Horst Ehlebracht, the retired district apostle of North Rhine-Westphalia has passed away at the age of 67. When Chief Apostle Richard Fehr retired him in a festive divine service on 1 January of last year-after 43 years of ministerial activity in the New Apostolic Church-he dedicated the following Bible passage to him: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up". Divine Service with Ordination in Sri Lanka
