Ceremony planned for Statement of Reconciliation

(31.10.2014) Düsseldorf/Zurich. Several meetings between representatives from the United Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church have taken place over the last few months. The content of these discussions centred on the events that led to the separation between the United Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church in the year 1955. In an open exchange, these events were analysed from today’s point of view. Changes to the ordination and retirement of Bishops

(17.10.2014) Zurich. The international Church leader, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, has announced a change with respect to the ordination and retirement of Bishops. Following a lengthy discussion, the District Apostle Meeting, which is presently convening in Berlin, passed a resolution stating that, as of 1 January 2015, the Chief Apostle will, as a rule, delegate the ordination and retirement of all Bishops to the responsible District Apostle. more ...

District Apostle Meeting in Berlin begins with Africa

All 28 participants of the International District Apostle Meeting have arrived, namely the Chief Apostle as sponsor and chairman, along with nineteen District Apostles and eight District Apostle Helpers. (10.06.2014) Munich/Zurich. The first ever International Church Convention of the New Apostolic Church came to an end on Sunday evening. Blessed with beaming sunshine and, for the most part, high summer temperatures, Christians from many parts of the world celebrated their faith with great enthusiasm over the space of three days. Some 50,000 participants assembled in Munich’s Olympia Park for the International Church Convention, which took place over the Pentecost weekend from 6-8 June 2014. Pentecost 2014: “It is more blessed to give than to receive”

A divine service from Munich transmitted around the world by satellite—millions of New Apostolic Christians on all continents witnessed the Pentecost service conducted by their Church leader, Jean-Luc Schneider. In the Olympia Stadium in the Bavarian capital alone there were 50,000 believers. In his Pentecost message, the Chief Apostle called upon the believers to become even more active in love for God and their neighbour, emphasising that “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” more ...

That was certainly the impression that emerged during an important panel discussion at the International Church Convention in Munich on the subject of the one-year anniversary of the New Apostolic Catechism. The applause set the tone. Several thousand listeners had assembled in the Olympia Hall—and they made it quite clear which of the panellists’ statements they supported. The starting beat to a celebration of faith
