Chief Apostle ordains a new Apostle for Switzerland

(24.12.2014) Zurich. The fourth Sunday of Advent brought an important change to the District Church of Switzerland: in a divine service he conducted in Zurich, the international Church leader, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, retired Apostle Heinz Lang, who had served the Church for many years, and then went on to ordain a successor in ministry, namely Thomas Deubel (50). In addition, Rolf Camenzind (51) from Ticino was ordained a Bishop. The divine service was transmitted to many countries throughout the working area of District Apostle Markus Fehlbaum. more ...

New members in the Coordination Group

District Apostle Rüdiger Krause (NA Northern Germany) and District Apostle Rainer Storck (NAC North Rhine-Westphalia) are the newest members in this important body. Statement of Reconciliation

(29.11.2014) Zürich/Düsseldorf. „Die Apostolische Gemeinschaft und die Neuapostolische Kirche möchten ihr Verhältnis zueinander klären und miteinander versöhnt und in gegenseitiger Wertschätzung in die Zukunft gehen“, lautet der erste Satz einer gemeinsamen Versöhnungserklärung beider Kirchen. Ceremony planned for Statement of Reconciliation

(31.10.2014) Düsseldorf/Zurich. Several meetings between representatives from the United Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church have taken place over the last few months. The content of these discussions centred on the events that led to the separation between the United Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church in the year 1955. In an open exchange, these events were analysed from today’s point of view. Changes to the ordination and retirement of Bishops

(17.10.2014) Zurich. The international Church leader, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, has announced a change with respect to the ordination and retirement of Bishops. Following a lengthy discussion, the District Apostle Meeting, which is presently convening in Berlin, passed a resolution stating that, as of 1 January 2015, the Chief Apostle will, as a rule, delegate the ordination and retirement of all Bishops to the responsible District Apostle. more ...

District Apostle Meeting in Berlin begins with Africa

(15.10.2014) Berlin/Zurich. Another sunny day in Berlin begins. All 28 participants of the International District Apostle Meeting have arrived, namely the Chief Apostle as sponsor and chairman, along with nineteen District Apostles and eight District Apostle Helpers. Also among them is District Apostle Helper Enrique Minio from Argentina. He just received his new commission two weeks ago in the Thanksgiving divine service in Buenos Aires (we reported). more ...
