The European District Apostle Meeting arrives at some wide-ranging decisions

(09.05.2007) Zurich. At the end of April, the District Apostles of Europe assembled for their first conference of the year. Among other things they approved the production of a so-called “Image DVD” about the New Apostolic Church. Production of this new DVD will be entrusted to the Church’s own Public Relations Work Group in collaboration with a professional agency based in Germany. more ...

All about Pentecost

(04.05.2007) For some, Pentecost is merely a celebration of spring, for others it is the birthday of the church. The word “Pentecost” derives from the Greek “pentekoste”, which is a reference to the “fiftieth” day. The feast of Pentecost is thus calculated as being the fiftieth day after Easter. In ancient times, Easter Sunday was counted as the first day in this calculation, which would actually put the feast of Pentecost on Pentecost Monday. more ...

Pentecost - Birthday of the Church of Christ

The New Apostolic Church also recognizes this event as the time from which the church started its work, and that it was the moment of the birth of the church of Christ. Meeting centred on questions of faith

(07.04.2007) Zurich. The first District Apostle Meeting of this year focused primarily on points of doctrine of the New Apostolic Church. A brief statement on the doctrine of original sin was also commissioned. At the end of the two-day meeting in the Conference Centre of the New Apostolic Church International in Zurich, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber bid an official farewell to District Apostle Mario Fiore from Argentina, who had served in ministry for many years. Following the steps of Christ in Maracay

(27.02.2007) Maracay, Venezuela. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber has set off on a 12-day journey to North and South America. The flight to Maracay, Venezuela took around ten hours, and then the bus trip from the airport to the hotel took over four hours more. Peter Klene to be ordained as the new Apostle for Holland

On 18 March 2007, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, the international leader of the New Apostolic Church, will conduct a divine service in Groningen, Netherlands, at which time he will ordain the now Bishop Peter Klene (49) to the Apostle ministry. District Apostle Theodoor de Bruijn, who is responsible for the Church in the Netherlands, has had a letter informing the members of this news read out in all congregations of his District Church. more ...

Divine services at high temperatures in São Tomé
