New District Apostle Helper for East Africa

(03.08.2007) Zurich. Apostle Shadreck Mundia Lubasi is to become the new District Apostle Helper for East Africa. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber will carry out this appointment in a divine service scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in November. The Chief Apostle relates that this is a first step in the creation of the new District Apostle District of East Africa, which is to be established over the course of the next few years. USA Youth Day 2007 – Estes Park, Colorado

He was accompanied by District Apostles Theodoor deBruijn (Netherlands), Hagen Wend (Germany) and Richard Freund (USA). The Chief Apostle in Yogyakarta

A whale tooth in Fiji

(02.07.2007) Sydney. A blessed weekend in Sydney, Australia ended with a festive divine service in the Hills Centre on Sunday. On Monday, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber travelled onward to the Fiji Islands. Before going to the hotel he visited the village of Natalau, where a divine service is scheduled to take place on Tuesday. The Chief of the Village, who is Muslim, welcomed the guest of honour with a traditional “Fiji Welcome.” more ...
