Earthquake relief at work in Indonesia
(22.08.2006) Dortmund/Mawen. Earthquake relief is at work in Indonesia! "NAK-karitativ", the aid organisation of the New Apostolic Church headquartered in Dortmund reports this information in its most recent newsletter. The locally responsible earthquake relief coordinator, Apostle Edy Isnugroho, reports on the first reconstruction efforts to restore churches and homes. Machines and building materials have arrived and are being put to work in the meantime. Reconstruction of homes has also begun in Mawen, the most heavily damaged area in the deployment region. [more]
Close collaboration between “NAK-karitativ” and the “Henwood Foundation”

The relief organisation of the New Apostolic District Churches of Germany, "NAK-karitativ", has pledged to collaborate closely with the "Henwood Foundation", the aid organisation of the New Apostolic District Church of Zambia, in its agricultural projects. With the help of suitable agricultural methods and drought resistant crops, farmers will in future be able to produce enough for themselves as well as the marketplace. [more]

Reconstruction of church complex in Colombo
(15.04.2006) Dortmund. The terrible tsunami of December 2004 devastated entire landscapes in South East Asia. New Apostolic Christians from around the world donated some 3 million Euro in response to the disaster. Now the church complex in Colombo, Sri Lanka is being rebuilt. [more]
Flooding in Kasaya
(31.03.2006) Kasaya/Zambia. A flooding catastrophe in Zambia's Kasaya region (near Livingstone) has claimed a number of lives, among them that of a New Apostolic brother in faith. He drowned when the boat, which was to carry him to safety, sank. [more]
NAK-karitativ and World Relief Fund work together to provide aid
(21.02.2006) Dortmund/Sea Cliff (USA). NAK-karitativ, the aid organisation of the New Apostolic District Churches across Germany, and the World Relief Fund of the New Apostolic Church USA have joined forces to execute an aid campaign to provide hunger relief in East Africa. Initial funds in the amount of 25,000 Euro and US $50,000 respectively are earmarked for the East African regions hardest hit by the serious drought. [more]
After the hurricane in New Orleans: New Apostolic Church helps with clean-up operations
(17.09.2005) New Orleans. Efforts are now underway to clean up after the devastating storm and flood catastrophe that shook the southern coast of the USA. New Orleans is to be rebuilt, and the New Apostolic Church has announced it will also take part in the clean-up operations. [more]
Liyoyelo to be rebuilt
(13.09.2005) Liyoyelo, Zambia. Liyoyelo lies on the Zambezi River around 600 kilometres west of Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. On 24 August the entire bush village burned to the ground - all 34 houses. The president of the New Apostolic Church in Zambia, District Apostle Charles Ndandula, travelled to the affected region in order to personally direct the relief effort to help those in need (see our report). Firestorm destroys bush village
(06.09.2005) Mongu, Zambia. A gigantic firestorm has completely destroyed the bush village of Mongu in Western Zambia. Twenty-eight families have been affected, most of them New Apostolic. [more]
Disaster relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina: NAK-karitativ donates 50,000 Euro for immediate aid
(02.09.2005) Dortmund. The relief agency of the New Apostolic District Churches of Germany, "NAK-karitativ", is sending 50,000 Euro of immediate aid to help victims of Hurricane Katrina in the USA. The funds will be transferred to the World Relief Fund of the New Apostolic Church USA. Further relief campaigns will follow. [more]
