Cleveland welcomes Chief Apostle Leber

Accompanying our Chief Apostle will be the District Apostles Andrew Andersen and Richard Freund. The Holy Spirit and its diverse ways of activity

In the position papers on Holy Baptism and Holy Sealing as well as in the comments concerning "exclusiveness" as published by the New Apostolic Church on January 24, 2006, statements were made concerning the Holy Spirit. The question has been raised, with reference to these statements, of whether they do not constitute a contradiction: on the one hand, dispensing of Holy Spirit is bound to apostleship while, on the other, it is stated that the Holy Spirit can also be active in other religious denominations which truthfully profess Christ. more ...

"More emphasis on Holy Communion"

(02.01.2007) Zurich. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber declared that "we must make the celebration of Holy Communion more of a focal point in the divine services." In his interview with the editors the Chief Apostle also went on to explain why he believes training for our ministers is necessary. Change in the chairmanship of the Coordination Group

(20.12.2006) Zurich. “Nothing is more constant than change” - it was with this well known saying that Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber discharged the hitherto chairman of the Coordination Group (CG) - District Apostle Armin Studer from Switzerland - of his duties with this Church body. Theological explanation of the term “temptation” in the Lord’s Prayer

During the last District Apostle Meeting in Zurich the District Apostles listened to a theological lecture on the topic “What is the significance of the plea ‘And lead us not into temptation’ in the Lord’s Prayer?” A detailed explanation on this subject will appear in both the Church magazine “Our Family” and the monthly “Word of life” circular for ministers. Remembrance Day Benefit Concert

Close to 100 musicians and choir members from the New Apostolic Church presented on Saturday, November 11, 2006, a Remembrance Day benefit concert for "Variety - The Children's Charity". They presented, in the beautiful auditorium of the Birchmount Park Collegiate, various choral and classical pieces from F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy, J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, A. Day of the Child in Southern Namibia

(11.12.2006) Namibia. “Freedom from Fear” was the theme for the Day of the Child divine service conducted by District Apostle Noel Barnes for the Sunday school children of Southern Namibia.
