Pentecost 2010: Welcome to Cape Town
(26.02.2010) Zurich/Cape Town. This year’s Pentecost celebration will convene all presently active Apostles of the New Apostolic Church in Cape Town, South Africa. The international satellite transmission of a Pentecost concert and divine service will originate from there. Some 350 Apostles from many countries around the world are also anticipated at the International Apostles’ Meeting in the Cape Town Convention Centre. more ...
A short trip to West Africa

Another Bishop ordained for the New Apostolic Church in Romania
(17.02.2010) Lucerne. The first Sunday in February led the international Church leader, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, to Switzerland. The divine service took place in the New Apostolic congregation in Lucerne, the large city on the shores of Lake Lucerne, on Sunday, 7 February. It was in the course of this service that Teodot Anton (59) received the Bishop ministry for the New Apostolic Church in Romania. more ...
New Apostolic Christians around the world send donations for Haiti
(10.02.2010) Zurich. International expressions of solidarity with the people of the earthquake region of Haiti have been overwhelming. Many New Apostolic congregations have participated in donation drives. There are reports of various campaigns from all District Churches around the world. For example, District Apostle Leslie Latorcai from Canada has written to the members in the congregations in his care that over 120,000 Canadian dollars have been raised across the country and presented to the national Red Cross. more ...
Tshitshi Tshisekedi is the new District Apostle Helper in the Congo
(28.01.2010) Zurich. The third week of January brought Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, the leader of the international New Apostolic Church, to the Democratic Republic of Congo. From 21-26 January, his agenda included visits throughout the province of Katanga. The highlight of the trip was the appointment of a new District Apostle Helper for the eastern region of the gigantic country, which is served by the District Church of France. more ...
Concrete help for earthquake victims has arrived in Haiti
(20.01.2010) Zurich/Port-au-Prince. District Apostle Leonard Kolb from the USA has stated in a press release that a large-scale delivery operation of relief supplies for earthquake victims in Haiti has begun. Many members of the New Apostolic Church have sent donations to the accounts of the various relief organisations. The majority of our Church’s members on the Caribbean island have survived the devastating natural disaster, but like all other Haitians, are still greatly dependent on help and support. more ...
Malawi also battered by a series of violent earthquakes
(15.01.2010) Zurich/Dortmund. An earthquake with serious consequences for the population has also occurred in the African country of Malawi. In December 2009, the province of Karonga was struck by violent tremors registering at magnitudes of up to 6.0. “NAK-karitativ”, the relief organisation of the New Apostolic Churches in Germany, is currently accepting donations for both Haiti and Malawi. more ...
Many lives lost in Haiti earthquake
(14.01.2010) Zurich. Millions of people on the Caribbean island of Haiti have been left impoverished, injured, wounded, dead, or homeless. There has not even been any news yet concerning the approximately 2,000 New Apostolic Christians there. The capital city, Port-au-Prince, is in a state of utter chaos. With a magnitude of 7.0 on the Richter scale, Tuesday evening’s earthquake was the worst in decades. And to make matters worse, the country is already among the poorest nations in the world. more ...

Apostle Meeting and divine service in Colombo
(03.12.2009) Zurich. On 22 November, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, international leader of the New Apostolic Church, conducted a divine service in Colombo, Sri Lanka. During the service, the Church leader retired the long-serving Apostle Isaac Yesumoney from India before an assembly of some 400 members and guests. The Apostle had served as a minister of the New Apostolic Church for over 30 years, among them 21 years as a faithful and conscientious Apostle, as the Chief Apostle stressed. more ...
