Theological explanation of the term “temptation” in the Lord’s Prayer

Remembrance Day Benefit Concert

Close to 100 musicians and choir members from the New Apostolic Church presented on Saturday, November 11, 2006, a Remembrance Day benefit concert for "Variety - The Children's Charity". They presented, in the beautiful auditorium of the Birchmount Park Collegiate, various choral and classical pieces from F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy, J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, A. Day of the Child in Southern Namibia

“Setting the course for the future of the Church”

That is what Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, international leader of the New Apostolic Church, is quoted as saying in an interview with the New Apostolic Church magazine “Our Family” (December 2006 edition). The interview is rounded off with statements on the subject of homosexuality, the European Youth Day, and missionary work. Divine service in Ushuaia, the “Bay to the East”
(17.11.2006) Ushuaia. The “land of fire” lies in the southernmost tip of the South American continent. More precisely, the Tierra del Fuego is not a “land” at all, but rather a group of many islands separated from the mainland by the Magellan Strait. Ushuaia, a provincial capital with some 65,000 inhabitants, is home to the southernmost New Apostolic congregation in the world. Ordination in Brazil
(14.11.2006) São Paulo. With a surface area of 8.5 million square kilometres, Brazil is the fifth-largest country on earth. On account of the great distances that need to be covered, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber ordained another Apostle to help in the work of the District Churches of Brazil and Bolivia. The new Apostle is the hitherto Bishop Geraldino Aires (58), who will in future work in northern Brazil. more ...
