Latest meeting with Rainbow-NAC
(26.01.2007) Frankfurt. The Committee for special affairs and a delegation from Rainbow-NAC have been meeting for regular discussions since 2002. The objective of this ongoing dialogue is to discuss the situation of homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual brethren in the NAC, dismantle prejudices, and promote common endeavours for clarification and understanding. The mutual trust between the two groups has made it possible for them to work together intensively on these topics, an endeavour that is supported with great interest by the Chief Apostle and the District Apostles. more ...
Cleveland welcomes Chief Apostle Leber

New statement on transsexuality

The Holy Spirit and its diverse ways of activity

In the position papers on Holy Baptism and Holy Sealing as well as in the comments concerning "exclusiveness" as published by the New Apostolic Church on January 24, 2006, statements were made concerning the Holy Spirit. The question has been raised, with reference to these statements, of whether they do not constitute a contradiction: on the one hand, dispensing of Holy Spirit is bound to apostleship while, on the other, it is stated that the Holy Spirit can also be active in other religious denominations which truthfully profess Christ. more ...

"More emphasis on Holy Communion"
(02.01.2007) Zurich. Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber declared that "we must make the celebration of Holy Communion more of a focal point in the divine services." In his interview with the editors the Chief Apostle also went on to explain why he believes training for our ministers is necessary. He also announced a second information evening toward the end of 2007. One possible topic might deal with issues concerning the Church’s history. more ...

Change in the chairmanship of the Coordination Group
(20.12.2006) Zurich. “Nothing is more constant than change” - it was with this well known saying that Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber discharged the hitherto chairman of the Coordination Group (CG) - District Apostle Armin Studer from Switzerland - of his duties with this Church body.
