Sri Lanka: Families return to their villages
(25.05.2011) Zurich. “We are grateful for any kind of support, both spiritual and humanitarian.” It is with these words that District Apostle Helper John Sobottka writes to Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber as he describes the situation of the New Apostolic congregations in the north of Sri Lanka. In the meantime, help has arrived for those New Apostolic families who have returned to their destroyed villages after the civil war. Easter: He is risen indeed!
(23.04.2011) Jesus resurrected on the third day. Mary Magdalene ran to Peter and John in order to tell them what she had just experienced. The two men hurried to the tomb. John was the first to arrive and look into the cave. When Peter reached the crypt, he went inside and found the sweatband of the Lord. “For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.” This insight only began to dawn on the Apostles little by little. more ...

Good Friday: Betrayal – interrogation – sentencing
(18.04.2011) On Friday of this week, all of Christendom will commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Then soldiers placed a crown of thorns upon His head, clothed Him in a purple robe, and mocked Him. Pilate washed his hands in innocence, but the people around him demanded Jesus’ crucifixion: “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!” more ...
