The creed of the New Apostolic Church has been revised
(06.06.2010) Zurich. As of today the ten Articles of Faith of the New Apostolic Church will appear in revised format. By commission of Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, a Work Group has revised the New Apostolic creed. Concerning this, the international Church leader states: “On account of changes to some doctrinal statements, such as, for example, our understanding of Holy Baptism, a revision had become necessary.” The Chief Apostle goes on to mention that a more specific formulation had become necessary in many of these statements. Pentecost 2010: A few parts of the Divine Service

With a seating capacity of 4,000, the New Apostolic congregation in Tafelsig (Cape Town) has the largest church building of the New Apostolic Church anywhere in the world. It was there that Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber conducted the divine service on Pentecost 2010, which was transmitted by satellite to approximately 5,000 other New Apostolic congregations around the globe. more ...

Yet sad to leave.” With these words Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber left Cape Town on Monday morning to travel back to Europe. Pentecost 2010: “Let us pray daily for power!”
(23.05.2010) Cape Town. District Apostle Noel Barnes expressed it best after the divine service: “I may not be able to look into the future, but I believe that this will remain a unique event for us in Cape Town!” The Pentecost service had just come to an end. Some 1.2 million believers had been able to participate in it live, either by satellite or internet transmission. Classical, modern, and folk – a Pentecost concert of special quality
(22.05.2010) Cape Town. The New Apostolic Church building in the Cape Town suburb of Silvertown has been in use as an auditorium for musical events for many years. This was also the case on the Saturday preceding Pentecost, when a Pentecost concert took place to mark the occasion of the International Apostle Meeting of the New Apostolic Church. (21.05.2010) Zurich. Thousands of members all over the world and a pleased nacworld team are closely following the lauch of the new version of nacworld. At midnight, weeks of preparations will cultiminate with the introduction of new features, an improved navigation, and a simplified registration process. nacworld will extend access to all age groups, thereby enabling New Apostolic Christians worldwide to communicate more easily. more ...

(20.05.2010) Cape Town. Wednesday 19 May 2010: The first of the larger groups of apostles have arrived yesterday with some 25 apostles from the African countries of Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast and Benin. Thereafter smaller groups of 5 and 7 apostles put in an appearance, these men coming from as diverse origins as the Philippines and Australia to Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand. Interspersed between the arriving apostles were also some personnel from New Apostolic Church’s International office and Verlag Friedrich Bischoff coming to cover the event. more ...
