Setting: The first satellite transmission to Zambia reached a total of over half a million people in that country alone. A total of around one million participants were able to witness the divine service live. All District Apostles (except Alfons Tansahtikno and Andrew Andersen, who could not attend on account of illness) and all Apostles from Europe were present. On the previous Saturday, 30 May, there was a little ceremony to celebrate Chief Apostle Richard Fehr’s 10th year in ministry. Over this time the membership of the New Apostolic Church had nearly doubled.

Pentecost greeting: “But hold fast what you have till I come” (Revelation 2: 25).

Core thoughts: “What is it that we have? What must we hold fast? We have a living, childlike faith. Let us remain in the first love. This love is capable of making sacrifices. It is also important to hold fast to our hope, because it effects patience and trust.”
