Setting: All Apostles from Europe had gathered in Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle, along with approximately 11,000 souls who had likewise assembled in the hall for the divine service. Another 270,000 participants throughout Europe and South Africa were connected by satellite transmission. At the end of the service, District Elders Viktor Bezgans from Russia and Dewan Chowdhury from India were ordained Apostles.

Pentecost greeting: “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” (Revelation 1: 3).

Core thoughts: “Despite all the developments in many areas, there is one thing we must not forget: the time is near. But it is important that we continually repeat the three steps mentioned here: reading the words of this prophecy, hearing them, and keeping those things which are written in it. […] There are three things that are important: 1. that we increasingly comprehend God’s will, 2. that we understand more and more what God is, and 3. that we recognise increasingly what God grants us!”
