Premarital sex

The New Apostolic Church does not condone premarital sex, especially if practised with frequently changing partners or minors, or for the purpose of testing sexual compatibility. If a couple has the firm intention to be married in the foreseeable future, and if the Biblical principles of serious commitment, enduring loyalty, genuine love, and mutual support are observed, then premarital sex is not considered a sin. Even in this case, the New Apostolic Church nevertheless recommends abstinence from premarital sex, since this is supposed to be reserved for marriage.
