Animal protection

New Apostolic Christians consider it their duty to show due respect for all living things. This derives from mankind's shared responsibility to protect the creation. Animals are to be treated as creatures made by God, and not as objects. This entails that they should not be tormented—in other words, that they should never be subjected to cruel or unnecessary pain, and that they should be kept in humane conditions. The Church advocates for measured protection of nature and animals.
